In the early sixties, my father Mr. Mirza Basheer Ahmad was a senior Engineer and the Head Of Department at M/S Zelin who were then the distributors of GE Medical Systems in Pakistan. In 1974, he started his own firm with the name of Medionics International, introducing Medical Imaging Systems from Hitachi (Japan) and Universal (USA). This was a partnership business.

Since the year 2004, we now also represent Philips-Neusoft Digital Medical Systems (China) as the 'sole agents' for the Pakistan region. Most of the Equipment from Philips-Neusoft (like DEL Universal) are CE/FDA approved so that they can be sold in Europe as well as in America. In March 2004, we installed the First 1000 mA Remote Controlled Digital Radiography/Fluoroscopy system from Philips-Neusoft Medical Systems at Seyal Medical Center in Multan.

By the year 2000, Medionics dissolved and re-emerged as Sunshine Medical Corporation as the 'sole agents' for DEL Universal Medical Systems (USA). Eversince, we have done numerous installations all over Pakistan (and even in Tajikistan) including the Installation of High Frequency radiography systems for the 24 hour radiology facility at the Agha Khan University Hospital, Karachi. We have even Installed a 500 mA Radiography unit for the Agha Khan Health Services (AKHS) in Khorog, Tajikistan.

Almost 50 Percent of our technical staff holds either Bachelors or Masters degree in their respective fields. Our mission: To Improve the services related to the Health Care Equipment in Pakistan.
